Winter wonderful
Skiing on Kitz, our local mountain
Skiing is great fun – especially on Kaprun’s local mountain, Kitz.
If I’m being honest, I don’t really get the whole “whizzing down the mountain on two wooden planks” thing. But it’s also true that my human parents aren’t as fast on snow as I am. In my case, the all-wheel drive and the ABS are practically built into my body. Yes, I do have it better than them.
What I do like about skiing is how people return back to Lederer, my accommodation in Zell am See, at the end of the day. With rosy cheeks, growling stomachs, and with nothing but relaxation on their minds. In that regard, they definitely take me as an example. They pop into the bar together with their family or friends, sip on a refreshing drink, and chat about their day on Kitzsteinhorn, THE most legendary ski area in all of Salzburgerland.
And most of the time, they have a minute or two for petting me, and that makes everyone happy. After all, petting releases happy hormones. It’s a woof-win-situation, if you ask me.
